Security is a top priority at MacStadium. We deploy world-class physical, network, and process-level security at each of our locations, and we continuously strive to improve our security practices. To demonstrate our commitment to security, we hold top certifications such as ISO 27001, SOC 1 (Type 1&2), and SOC 2 (Type 1&2), and we’re excited to announce that we’ve added SOC 3 to that list.
The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) System and Organization Controls (SOC) are internal control reports on the services provided by a service organization. SOC reports are designed to provide assurance about the controls at a service organization relevant to security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. To achieve SOC 3 compliance, MacStadium underwent an independent, third-party audit to certify that our infrastructure, software, people, procedures, and data meet these trust service principles.
Unlike SOC 1 and 2, SOC 3 reports are freely distributed to the public for general use. MacStadium’s SOC 3 report can be found here. To learn more about MacStadium’s security policies, procedures and certifications, please visit our security page or contact us with any questions.
